Home Study Program and skills DVD for the CNA

The "Home Study Program" is for the North Carolina CNA and includes the textbook, workbook, NC skills guidebook, the application for the state exam, the binder with the chapter tests, answer keys and a practice final exam and answer key and the skills DVD.  This includes everything you will need to do the home study program and take the North Carolina nurse aide one exam.   You will pay your own state exam fee of $96.00 when you mail in the application to the state to take the exam.   The application and testing sites are located in your package.   This is only available to students in the class or in my program.

This does not include any full training, tutoring or skills classes.  This is the "Home Study Program", which means you will be doing it all at home, by yourself.  You will have to take the NC nurse aide one exam and after passing both sections, the written and the skills, you will be placed on the NC nurse aide registry, as a CNA.   The list of cities and locations the state exam is offered is included in the package.

After you complete your home study program, you can (it is optional, not mandatory) sign up for a "Skills Only" class that reveiws all 24 skills that you will need to know how to demonstrate for the NC nurse aide one exam.  See the category on the left side labled, "Class Dates".  The cost of a "Skills Only" class is $40.00 if you are a past student or if you have purchased the complete home study program..  You would sign up and register for this seperately.   Skills only classes are only held at the Monroe location.  Or, you can register for a "clinical class", which is $25.00, where you come to an open skills lab time for hands on practice of skills at the Monroe location before you take your exam.
